Bright Dashboard Pro cards support more than just text. You can embed videos, forms, and third-party widgets to create a truly interactive help hub for your clients.
1. How to Use Code View
To embed content from external services, you’ll need to use the Code View (or Text tab) in the WordPress editor.
- Create or edit a Client Note (or Admin Note).
- In the editor, switch from “Visual” to “Code View” (or the “Text” tab if using the classic editor).
- Paste your embed code (usually an iframe or script)
- Switch back to “Visual” to see a placeholder, or just hit Publish.
2. Embedding Videos
Videos are the best way to reduce support tickets. We recommend using services like Loom, YouTube, or Vimeo.
Example: YouTube Embed
Simply copy the “Embed” code from YouTube and paste it into a note:
HTML
Tip: Bright Dashboard Pro cards are responsive. If your video looks too wide, try setting the
widthto100%in the embed code.
3. Embedding Forms & Widgets
You can bring your existing tools directly into the WordPress dashboard.
- Support Forms: Embed a Fluent Forms or Gravity Forms shortcode or iframe.
- Scheduling: Paste your Calendly or SavvyCal embed code so clients can book meetings without leaving their site.
- Project Management: Embed public views or widgets from tools like ClickUp, Trello, or Notion.
4. Best Practices for Rich Content
- One Video Per Card: To keep the dashboard fast and readable, try to stick to one major embed per content card.
- Use Descriptive Titles: Instead of “Video 1,” use “Walkthrough: How to Add a Blog Post.”
- Add a Text Summary: Provide a 1-sentence summary below the video for users who prefer reading or can’t watch audio at the moment.
