Want to see Bright Dashboard Pro in action immediately? Follow this 5-minute guide to create your first custom dashboard and add a welcome message for your clients.

1. Enable the Client Dashboard

By default, the custom dashboards are disabled to keep your site clean until you’re ready.

  1. Navigate to Bright Dashboard > Dashboard Settings.
  2. Click on the Client Dashboard tab at the top.
  3. Toggle the Enable Client Dashboard switch to ON.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and click Save Changes.

Note: You’ll notice a new “Client Dashboard” menu item appears in your WordPress sidebar as soon as you save and reload the page.

2. Add Your First Note

The dashboard is a collection of “Notes” (content cards). Let’s add a welcome message.

  1. Navigate to Bright Dashboard > Client Notes.
  2. Click Add New Client Note.
  3. Give your note a title, like “Welcome to Your Website!”
  4. In the editor, add a friendly greeting or a quick link to your support email.
  5. Click Publish.

3. Preview the Result

Now, let’s see how it looks for the user.

  1. In your sidebar, click the new Client Dashboard link.
  2. You should see your welcome note displayed as a clean, professional card in the dashboard grid.
